Reception & Waiting Areas - Digital signage can be used to deliver targeted messages and advertising to customers in receptions & waiting areas. Viewers can be shown live weather feeds, Twitter & RSS Feeds along with a range of other information including live TV, display health & safety information or simply welcome visitors to your reception area, along with promotional content about your organisation. The content can be scheduled to automatically turn the system on only when required, e.g. in standard office hours, or overridden for emergency messages. The possibilities are endless.
Typically the signage system is either in the form of a separate unit, which can simply be plugged into your existing display/TV or a newly installed display, or it can be integrated directly into the display itself. Many display manufacturers now supply commercial displays with easy to use digital signage systems built into the software system. In most cases, the signage system is connected to the local network and can be controlled by almost anyone, from the receptionist to the IT department and full training can be provided on request.

Video Wall Digital Signage - Combining digital signage with a eye-catching video wall system delivers a flexible yet easy to use platform to really engage your target audience on a large scale. There are many different types of videowall systems available, but nearly all are scalable to any size and configuration.
A video wall can be created using two different methods;
Tiled Displays - The most cost effective method of creating a videowall is through the installation of multiple screens tiled together to create one single, large display. Many different configurations and sizes can be created using this method, but nearly all require professional displays that have been designed for use within a video wall.
We do occasionally get asked if domestic TV’s can be used instead to reduce costs - the honest answer is yes they can, however the visual results will undoubtedly be poor. To keep production costs down, domestic displays are manufactured using lower cost components which all have slight tolerances. When the displays are viewed on their own these tolerances aren't relevant, but when installed together the tolerances become very apparent. Across all the displays, differences in colour reproduction, brightness and most importantly response time (the time it takes to process the image and display on screen) will cause a disjointed image which will be particularly districating to the viewer. In addition, as the domestic displays age, characteristics such as colour reproduction and brightness will degrade differently from display to display, which can further compound the issue.
Commercial displays designed specifically for video walls are manufactured to much tighter tolerances, producing far superior results versus domestic TV’s/Display’s. Commercial displays for videowalls also feature significantly better configurability so that they can be properly calibrated to deliver professional results.
Another key issue is the product warranty. Manufacturers will not honor the warranty of a domestic display or TV if it has been installed within a commercial environment, whether installed as a single display or used for a video wall. A typical domestic TV is expected to be used at home for 3-4 hours per day on average, whereas a display in a commercial environment will be used for much longer, often 8-10 hours per day. Manufacturers therefore produce commercial displays using superior quality components, designed to keep them operating for much longer periods of time.
LED Panels - Generally more expensive than Displays, small LED panels can be combined together to create a stunning seamless and edgeless videowall, in any configuration and size. Depending upon the application and viewing distances involved, there are a wide range of options to choose from.
